Cotswold Wildlife Park

Here are a few pics - our camera died half-way through!

Well we had enough of being indoors so we decided to take a trip to our local wildlife park. Jack was at school so we just had Cerys who was really excited to see all the animals. It was a grey, gloomy day and we didn't realize how cold it was until we were there but still managed to have fun. I spent the majority of the visit wondering why in the world they would actually have zoos in England because most of the animals we came across were indoors and under heat lamps! The poor things looked like I felt and it was pretty depressing.

Poor babies! It is a little odd to have African animals in freezing weather under heat lamps. But then zebras aren't native to California either! Glad you had a fun day. Love your new blog look too!! Tried calling 15 minutes ago. Are you talking to Mom?? off to work!

Oh I'm laughing, we never actually went inside the London zoo when we lived there but from the path behind in Regents park all I could ever see were penquins, I'm sure they feel right at home!!
