my latest adventure!

Well, I am off to sunny Crete on Sunday and even though it is for work I am starting to get excited! I am going to be gone for 3 days and I know I am going to miss the kids (and John) terribly. I have never left any of them for this long but after the long struggle to get the childcare and work schedules organized I am confident they will survive!

Every year my company puts on this conference for us managers and every year they humiliate us by making us dress up in costumes. This year the theme is 'B' and can be anything starting with the letter B. Our team is going as Bond girls and it gave me the perfect excuse to go out and buy a new dress! Of course, one cannot buy a new dress without buying new shoes so they have been added to my suitcase as well. Oh, and a new swimsuit! The list goes on and on.

Poor John! He thought this conference was free.
